With the building industry moving towards a more sustainable future and the iconic blue foam about to become discontinued, our pavilion made of recycled blue foam acts as homage for this material that has taken centre stage in iterative scale models by many generations of architects and has laid the blocks for radical change.

We are proposing a construction sequence where a narrowboat will carry the building blocks and advertise the event along Regents Canal until the day of construction, where the blocks will be ceremoniously lifted from the canal and craned to site to be assembled.

A carved monolith expresses the enormous natural, material and political forces of an iceberg, released through its cracks, fissures and voids, to experience the spatial tensions of our times.
